What is a BYO-AI app builder?

BYO-AI means bring your own AI. A BYO-AI app builder does not come with an AI of its own. The AI you already use, ChatGPT or Claude, builds your app from start to finish, and the builder gives that AI what an app needs to run: hosting, sign-in, a database, email and payments.

That works, but it puts a wall between you and your app:
